Just got home from my working weekend/holiday at Sonya’s Garden in Tagaytay! It was quite ironic that we chose a place of relaxation to hold this workshop, but it wasn’t that hard to concentrate, especially if you’re with people who are really enthusiastic about this research. I’m so glad to finally meet the rest of the research team! I’m thankful that they’re...

Motivation
I need thee.
I have never felt this tired in my entire life. I can’t explain it. I’m not physically drained, but I am drained. For a moment there, everything went blank. Like the things I do serve useless purposes.
Maybe I just want to be a little appreciated.
What have I just taught my co-delegates?
Seriously, they don’t know what sukebes and smashboxes are? :| :>

What I Ate in HK
It’s my last night in Hong Kong and so far, it’s been an amazing experience. No, I don’t think amazing is even the right word for it, it’s understating what I want to say. The past 4 days have been very tiring; of course we had to take advantage of being in the city by roaming around and getting lost (though not actually, they have a pretty effective railway system here)...
Been crying my eyes out since the new year because I kept thinking of how much I’ll miss my Mom when she leaves for Australia to study. My Dad always reminds me that’s she’s only going to be away for a year, but a year is a long time. Now, everytime I do something that my Mom would normally do, I can’t help but cry. As in naglalaba ako, umiiyak. Naghuhugas ng pinggan,...

Happy 23rd, Jen!
Today is my cousin Jen’s 23rd birthday! The family met up in TriNoma and had dinner at Kamay Kainan, and post-dinner chillax time at Starbucks.
Before.
After.
It’s hard to manage ordering drinks for 13 people ha. So Jen and I just ordered the same order for everyone, no requests honored.
I love spending time with family even in the simplest occasions. I’m proud to...
And here we go again. My Mom wasn’t able to pay my flight ticket before the bank’s cutoff time. So how shall we deal with this. T_T
I want to cry. Not because I’m panicking about booking this flight and this trip, but because I’m stressed out with a lot of things—marketing, this, and most importantly, my Mom’s leaving to finish her MA in Australia. For a year....

Holidays 2011
This Christmas, my family spent the holidays with the Claudio clan for the first time since forever. It was really a quiet celebration. We had dinner at around 8PM, and the rest of the night we just spent opening gifts and babysitting kids.
The next day (25th), we went to Tagaytay to eat Bulalo (that wasn’t even good). Boo that restaurant! We got stuck in traffic for hours too. I...

Food, Glorious Food
This blog post could have also been aptly titled “What I Ate During the Holidays”.
Honey Roasted Chicken and Muffins from Kenny Rogers.
Spaghetti made with Diced Tomato—really light!
Melons are my favorite fruit forever.
I don’t really eat Lechon. :|
This is probably the third best barbecue I’ve ever tasted.
Pixies Sinugba
Walang kamatayang...

The [Obligatory] 2011 Recap
I was supposed to write this blog two days ago, but then I couldn’t find the right words, so I guess I’m just gonna let the photos show how my 2011 looked like.
To be honest, I’m really bad at remembering things so it took me a great deal of time to figure out when awesome things happened and where the photos are. I have a short memory, thank God for photography.
This year...

it's hanz on!: The 20 Dozen Changes Challenge →
Hey follower/friend! Check out this awesome challenge by my friend, Hans! Let’s try it this year! :)
hanzonthewheel:
Yard by yard, life is hard, but inch by inch, life’s a cinch!
So, with the “Happy 20 Dozen” idea that circulated in the twitter world earlier, I’ve finally had a glorious epiphany on how to begin on my own New Year’s Resolution and Happiness Project. Guided by Gretchen...
